Moldova HRB500E Cold rolled ribbed steel bars

Cold rolled ribbed steel bars are a type of steel bar with two or three crescent shaped surfaces formed by reducing the diameter through multiple cold rolling steps using hot-rolled wire rods, pressing one rib, and eliminating internal stress.

Product Description

The grade of cold-rolled ribbed steel bars consists of CRB and the minimum tensile strength of the steel bars. C. R and B are the first letters of the words Cold rolled, Ribbed, and Bars, respectively. Cold rolled ribbed steel bars are divided into four grades: CRB550, CRB650, CRB800, and CRB970. CRB550 is a steel bar used for ordinary reinforced concrete, while other grades are prestressed concrete steel bars.

The strength grade of cold-rolled ribbed steel bars is roughly the same in various countries, ranging from 550Mpa to 4-9mm. Used for ordinary reinforced concrete structures, such as stress and distribution bars for cast-in-place floor slabs and foundation slabs, distribution bars for shear walls, and stirrups for beams and columns. The mechanical properties of steel bars specified in the international standard ISO10544-1992 (E) are as follows: yield strength of 500Mpa, tensile strength of 550Mpa, and elongation (5 times the diameter of the gauge length) of 12% (note: China sets the elongation rate of δ 10 ≥ 8% instead of δ 5 ≥ 12%).
The tensile performance should be at least 90% of the total number of tests equal to or greater than the specified characteristic value, and the result of a single test should not be less than 95% of the specified characteristic value.
